HEYA, LONG TIME NO SEE!

So some of you might know me through my work at Storyland, Art of Play Games, or locally out and about in Castlemaine.
My name’s Owen Gregory.

In a move to claim more variety in my work I’ve shifted my focus to freelance under the business name Ogre’s Den (Because my name is Owen Gregory… O Gre… Ogre… You get it, right?).

I offer a wide variety of services, from animation, illustration, 3D sculpting and printing to more technical work such as web design/builds.

I’ve recently released a reel of featured work and wanted to share it out. Feel free to click through, have a watch and maybe get in touch!

SO UM... WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO?

Why, I’m glad you asked!

While my University degree is in Visual Communication and Design, my focus has always drifted toward motion graphics and illustration.

I have helped produce over 50 games for Nickelodeon, with duties ranging from background illustration and asset creation, to full character animation and cutscene compositing.

I’ve worked with local councils on promoting recycling + composting awareness, producing animated presentations as well as fully animated explainer videos.

I’ve also worked with the wonderful Lisa Mills (Shebang Media, Storyland) in running the Digiclub after school program, teaching kids to animate and edit video with industry ready programs.

WHAT ABOUT WEB? YOU SAID YOU DID THAT AS WELL.

I’m getting to that!

I develop websites in conjunction with graphic designer Ben Harmon of Gravy Stain Pants.

Gravy Stain Pants works primarily in WordPress and has produced sites for Tin Man Games, Larrikin Interactive as well as local businesses and events in Mount Alexander.

Prior to working with GSP I have completed sites for Sovereign Hill, Cast of Falcons, City of Moonee Valley, Cantwell Property Castlemaine, Women’s Health Loddon Mallee and more.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. Freelancing is a tough and competitive world, the best I can do is be confident and proud of my work.

Next time you need some work done, I hope you consider getting in touch with me at Ogre’s Den.
